Education
Graduated with excellent medal from the Natural Science and Mathematics High School “Acad. Sergey Korolyov” in 2002. In the same year, he applied to the Medical University of Sofia and was accepted with maximum points for student in the specialties “Medicine” and “Dentistry”.
He chose to dedicate himself to Dentistry. During the learning process, he showed deep interest in the “Orthodontics” specialty. He graduated in 2008 as an honor student of the graduation class. In 2009, he began clinical residency in Orthodontics at the Faculty of Dental Medicine of the Medical University of Sofia. In 2012, he graduated as a specialist in Orthodontics.
Biography
Dr. Handjiyski was born in Blagoevgrad in 1984.
He focuses his clinical interests on non-extraction therapy, the use of orthodontic mini implants (TADs) to create space in the dental arch and prevent tooth extraction for orthodontic indications; aesthetic treatments with appliances that preserve the discretion of the treatment process – the Invisalign® clear aligner system.
